Potion No. 9: Beauty Divine

Wouldn't it be nice if we could drink a potion that would release us from any resistant thoughts about the world and our place within it? Like Dorothy and the ruby slippers, the secret of Potion No. 9 has always been within us from the beginning. We just had to learn it for ourselves. Today I am reminded of the beauty that surrounds me all the time if I can just set still long enough to appreciate it.

As you gaze upon the images of beauty that I offer for Pink Saturday, tell me about your favorite things. Tell me about the beautiful things you take for granted but when thought upon for just a moment, give you an escape from the hectic worries of the day. I promise you that you will find beauty divine.

bright copper kettles
warm woolen mittens
brown paper packages tied up with string
Tell me a few of your favorite things

I am just amazed at your work and your writing!
Seems lately, I take most everything for granted. I am not sure why. Just do. Nice to see you again.
Happy Pink Saturday.

What a sweet Pink Saturday blog post! Sadly, every Saturday for the past few weeks it has been raining in northern Michigan. So, this day always brings a little sunshine my way. Thanks so much for the treat!

♥Wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend♥

Kellie, I love this post. It is those things that we often take for granted that can give us so much joy.

I have one that will make you laugh. Every time I get crushed ice from the dispenser on the freezer door, it makes me happy. I love ice, and I especially love crushed ice. Maybe I should pour pink lemonade over it. ;-)

Happy Pink Saturday.

Oh yes, wouldn't everybody want to know the secret. but the truth is there is no secret. Like you said, if we only stop and take a moment.

For one, I like rain (but not the strong, windy one. Just rain pouring nicely :-)
